Dan is a member of the Association Of Motion Picture Sound, and began his professional career with Manchester-based facility Sumner’s. Whilst at Sumner’s he worked on many TV drama series including Jinx (Kindle Entertainment), Leaving (Red Production Co), and Waterloo Road (Shed Productions), as well as numerous factual, and light entertainment shows.
From there he went on to set up Blue Sky Audio with fellow dubbing mixer Richard Lee, working hard to support Timeline TV ‘s bid to become one of the leading companies to offer post production in MediaCityUK.
Also highly experienced in short-form and animation, Dan has continued to work on much of the North West’s great drama output including CBBC productions, All at Sea, World’s End and The Dumping Ground, as well as Channel 4’s The Mill, all of which were post produced by Timeline TV in MediaCityUK.
Now, alongside his mixing commitments, Dan is currently building an audio suite in Manchester City Center which will help establish new working practises for the future,
Dan is excited about the future of audio post production but, without doubt, to have arrived at this point would never have been possible without the love and support of his family, Katy, Oliver, Rudy, and Milo.
